In partnership with Cars24, Bengaluru Traffic Police have installed one such AI-based digital billboard at Trinity Circle, one of the city’s busiest areas. This billboard showcases traffic violations and outstanding fines for vehicles passing through the circle. Equipped with cutting-edge AI cameras, these billboards can scan vehicle registration numbers from up to 100 meters away. Within seconds, they retrieve comprehensive vehicle data from the national vehicle database.
Details such as pending e-challans, expired Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates, or other traffic violations are displayed directly on the screen, making this information publicly visible.
