Dr. Shyam Kumar, a doctor at the hospital on Garh Road, explained that Sachin was brought to the hospital a week ago by his family, suffering from severe stomach pain. A known drug addict, Sachin had been admitted to a de-addiction center in Ghaziabad, which infuriated him. In response, he began breaking and swallowing steel spoons and toothbrushes available at the facility, leading to the abdominal discomfort.

Hapur (Uttar Pradesh): In a bizarre incident, a 40-year-old man named Sachin from Bulandshahr, enraged at being admitted to a de-addiction center, swallowed 29 steel spoons and 19 toothbrushes. Medical Discovery and Procedure:
Ultrasound and X-ray scans revealed metal and plastic objects in Sachin’s stomach. Initially, doctors believed the items could be removed via endoscopy and referred him to a hospital in Meerut. However, the Meerut doctors determined that endoscopy was not feasible for extracting the spoons and toothbrushes. Sachin returned to Devanandini Hospital, where a surgical procedure was performed last week.
