Arriving at Kalaburagi airport in the morning, Siddaramaiah held a preliminary meeting with district officials to gather detailed information on the flood-induced damages. District collectors and in-charge secretaries from Kalaburagi, Bidar, Yadgir, and Vijayapura attended the meeting, providing comprehensive updates on the flood’s impact.

Following the meeting, the Chief Minister, accompanied by Vijayapura District In-Charge Minister M.B. Patil, Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, and Kalaburagi District In-Charge Minister Priyank Kharge, embarked on the first round of the aerial survey. During the survey, they observed the damage to villages, agricultural lands, and infrastructure caused by the floods.The meeting was attended by Regional Commissioner Zaheera Naseem, Kalaburagi District Collector Fauzia Tarannum, Bidar District Collector Shilpa Sharma, Yadgir District Collector Harshal Bhoyar, and Vijayapura District Collector Anand K.

Siddaramaiah directed officials to expedite damage assessments and relief measures to support the affected communities.
