Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to launch youth skilling and education encouragement schemes worth ₹62,000 crore, including the PM-SETU initiative, at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi on October 4.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate these significant projects focused on youth skilling and education tomorrow at Vigyan Bhavan. The initiatives aim to expand opportunities for education, skill development, and entrepreneurship for the nation's youth.

On Saturday, October 4, at 11 AM, the fourth edition of the National Skill Convocation ceremony will take place, during which 46 top achievers from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across India will be felicitated. A central highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs (PM-SETU) scheme, a centrally sponsored project designed to enhance skill development and employability opportunities, with an investment exceeding ₹60,000 crore.

The PM-SETU scheme aims to upgrade 1,000 government ITIs across the country, adopting a hub-and-spoke model that includes 200 hub ITIs and 800 spoke ITIs. This upgrade will encompass improved infrastructure, modern trades, incubation facilities, and digital learning systems. In its initial phase of implementation, a special focus has been placed on ITIs in Patna and Darbhanga. POCO M7 5G, Ocean Blue (6GB, 128GB)
