Bengaluru: All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge is recovering well after undergoing surgery following a recent health issue. AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal confirmed the leader’s improving health and stated that the party is confident in its ability to take necessary decisions in Kharge's absence.
Speaking to the media on Friday in Bengaluru after meeting Kharge, Venugopal said, "Mallikarjun Kharge is a hard worker; he dedicates 24 hours a day to the party. He was always present at party programs, whether in the Northeast or any other region. His health is now improving, but we have requested him to take complete rest to recover fully."

Party's Leadership Stability -
Addressing concerns about party decision-making while Kharge is recuperating, Venugopal asserted the party's strength. "Whenever the party needs to make a decision, the party will take it. The Congress has the capacity to decide what needs to be done within its party," he stated, expressing confidence in the party's leadership mechanism.
