Bengaluru: The Kannada literary world has suffered a great loss with the passing of renowned short story writer, critic, thinker, and folklore scholar Dr. Mogalli Ganesh in Hosapete on Sunday morning. Born on July 1, 1963, in Santhemogenahalli, Channapatna taluk, Dr. Mogalli Ganesh authored several acclaimed short story collections, including Buguri, Mannu, Atte, Bhoomi, Kannemale, Devara Daari, and Mogalli Kathegalu. He was honored with numerous awards, including the Karnataka Sahitya Academy Award.
