A massive avalanche on the world's highest peak, Mount Everest, has left an estimated 1,000 climbers stranded in camps along the Tibetan slope. A large-scale rescue operation is currently underway, with several individuals already brought to safety.

The extreme snowfall has completely blocked the usual routes leading up the mountain. Hundreds of locals and official rescue teams have been deployed to clear the paths and assist the stranded mountaineers. Initial reports indicate a degree of success in the rescue efforts, with approximately 350 people already evacuated and safely brought to the nearby town of Kudang. The Tibetan Blue Sky Team is reportedly among the groups actively assisting in the challenging rescue mission.

In response to the dangerous conditions, officials have temporarily suspended ticket bookings for Mount Everest expeditions.
