Bengaluru: Girish Mattannavar was previously acquitted in a case involving a bomb threat at the Vidhana Soudha. Sambargi has filed a complaint with the Bengaluru City Police Commissioner and the Home Secretary, urging a reinvestigation into the allegations that Girish Mattannavar placed a bomb near the MLA residence in the capital. Despite the case being closed in court, Sambargi claims that new evidence justifies reopening the investigation. He alleges that Mattannavar has discussed the incident on several occasions and has submitted multiple videos as evidence, in which Mattannavar purportedly admits to making and placing the bomb. As a result, Girish Mattannavar now faces renewed trouble.
