The incident took place in Shivanahalli, under the Basaveshwaranagar police station limits in Bengaluru, where an electric vehicle (EV) bike was plugged in for charging in the basement of a house. The bike, owned by an individual named Mukesh, caught fire around 11:00 PM. A nearby bicycle was also engulfed in flames, and as the fire began to spread to the house, locals quickly dragged the bike outside. Firefighters from Rajajinagar arrived at the scene and extinguished the blaze.
