Bengaluru: An incident occurred yesterday evening at JB Road Circle in Bengaluru, where a BMTC bus driver, who had stopped at a red signal, was assaulted by a young man traveling with his family in an auto-rickshaw. The auto driver argued, "If you had moved aside, I could have passed," leading to a heated exchange that turned violent, resulting in the bus driver sustaining a minor head injury. Female passengers on the bus provided first aid to the injured driver, cleaning his wounds and offering support. Despite the assault, the auto driver continued his aggressive behavior, shouting at onlookers, "I’m the one who hit him, what are you going to do about it?" The police have since taken the auto driver, his family, and the auto to the station and are investigating the matter.
