Bengaluru: Karnataka today welcomed three new State Information Commissioners. Dr. Richard Vincent D'Souza, B. Venkat Singh, and Dr. Mahesh Walvekar officially took the oath of office during a ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan.
Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered the oath to the newly appointed Information Commissioners at the Banquet Hall of the Raj Bhavan.
Dr. Richard Vincent D'Souza and Dr. Mahesh Walvekar, who have been appointed as State Information Commissioners for the Bengaluru bench, took their oath in the name of God. Meanwhile, B. The event was attended by dignitaries and senior officials, including the Chief Information Commissioner of the Karnataka State Information Commission, Ashit Mohan Prasad, Chief Secretary to the Government, Dr. Shalini Rajneesh, current State Information Commissioners, and retired Information Commissioners of the Karnataka Information Commission.
