With the election bugle sounded for the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, the JD(U)-led ruling coalition (NDA) has announced seat-sharing among its constituent parties and is ready to enter the fray.

BJP and JD(U) have each secured 101 seats, LJP (Ram Vilas) gets 29, while HAM and RLSP have been allotted 6 seats each. Amit Shah's rally in Saran and intellectual gatherings in Patna have heightened the election enthusiasm. The NDA's preparations aim to capitalize on opponents' weaknesses to secure a majority in the 243 seats.

However, confusion over seat-sharing dominates the Mahagathbandhan (INDIA alliance). With just hours left until the deadline for filing nominations in the first phase, infighting persists among RJD, Congress, VIP, and Left parties. VIP leader Mukesh Sahani is fighting for more seats. This confusion could prevent the alliance from fighting as a unified bloc, leading to mutual damage and benefiting only the NDA.
