Mumbai Indians will be releasing some players who failed to meet expectations last season. Fast bowlers and spin bowlers, including Lizard Williams, Reece Topley, and M. Ghaznfar, are likely to be released this time

Mumbai Indians is preparing for the upcoming IPL mini-auction. A decision has been made not to retain some players who did not deliver the expected performance last season.

Key players who may be released this time include:

  • Lizard Williams – South African fast bowler. Did not play a single match last season.

  • Reece Topley – England left-arm fast bowler. Played only one match.

  • M. Ghaznfar – Young Afghanistan leg-spinner. Did not get a single opportunity in the last IPL.
