Bengaluru: A tragic road accident occurred on Saturday morning on a sloping road near Uraganadoddi village in Anekal taluk. A container lorry lost control and plunged into a deep ditch beside the road. The bodies of the deceased were trapped under the container. With the help of locals and fire brigade personnel, the bodies were retrieved. The injured were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Anekal.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the lorry, which was speeding down the slope, lost control and fell into the ditch. Jigani police station personnel visited the site, conducted an inspection, and registered a case.
