India's 'Most Wanted' Preacher Zakir Naik to Receive Red Carpet Welcome in Bangladesh!

Controversial Islamic preacher Zakir Naik, who is a fugitive from justice in India facing serious charges related to terrorism, money laundering, and inciting communal disharmony, has reportedly receiving a grand welcome in Bangladesh.

The exiled Indian religious figure and controversial orator, Zakir Naik, has arrived in Bangladesh, where preparations were made to receive him with a red carpet welcome. This marks his first visit to the country in nine years. Notably, the previous government led by Sheikh Hasina had banned his channel, 'Peace TV,' in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh's interim government, currently led by Nobel Laureate Muhammad Yunus, has approved a month-long nationwide tour for Naik. Authorities have been informed to arrange a series of sermons for him during this period. The organizers will facilitate this tour and a series of religious sermons from November 28 to December 20.

The Yunus government’s approval has effectively granted recognition to Naik, despite him being accused in India of delivering hate speech and undermining communal harmony. Mookajjiya Kanasugalu: Gnyaanapeeta Prashasthi Puraskrutha Kaadambari Hardcover – 1 January 2018

Naik, who has been absconding from India since 2016, was previously reported to be based in Malaysia. India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against him. The Malaysian government had earlier agreed to cooperate with India’s request for his extradition.
