Responding to media questions on Monday near the Devanahalli International Airport, Shivakumar reacted to Siddaramaiah's statement that he would remain the full-term Chief Minister if the high command agreed.
Speaking about his Delhi visit, he informed that he had visited the home of Ambika Soni, a working committee member of their party, to offer condolences for the passing of her husband. He further added, "I have a close relationship with her. She is a leader of our party. When S.M. Krishna was in power, she was our General Secretary. When questioned about going to Delhi to meet the high command, Shivakumar clarified, "I can only speak about the matter and the work for which I went to Delhi. Let the media, public, or anyone else discuss whatever they want about the high command meeting. Let anyone speak.
