The Board is taking more than six months to approve the admissions of students enrolled in paramedical colleges. Even though colleges submitted the documents for students admitted in the 2024-25 academic year in February, many students have not yet received their registration numbers.
College managements have expressed outrage over the Board's failure to confirm registration even as examinations approach. According to the 2025-26 academic schedule announced by the Board, September 30 was the last date for admission to any paramedical course, and classes were supposed to start from October 1st. Students lamented that while annual examinations are supposed to be held every November, they are being postponed until December-January. This delay is also hindering hostel admissions.
