E-commerce giant Amazon is moving towards job cuts. Amazon is reportedly laying off 30,000 corporate employees, affecting over 10% of its 3.5 lakh staff.

E-commerce giant Amazon has once again delivered a huge blow to its employees. According to reports, the company is planning to lay off approximately 30,000 corporate employees. The company had previously laid off 27,000 employees in 2022. Over the last two years, Amazon has been carrying out small-scale job cuts across various divisions, including Devices, Communications, and Podcasting. Amazon's Chief Operating Officer, Michael Fidelke, informed the staff about this decision. Fidelke, who is set to take over as the next CEO of Target on February 1st, stated that employees being laid off will be notified via email starting Tuesday morning.
