Farmers have expressed intense anger against Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan. He is accused of influencing the case involving Telangana traders cheating farmers in the state, attempting to suppress the matter. The farmers staged a protest against the Minister at the venue of the event in Chikkaballapur. During the protest, a farmer known as 'Jolada Kitty' (Maize Kitty) expressed his anguish by writing a death note in his own blood. Telangana-based businessmen had cheated farmers by purchasing maize and failing to pay crores of rupees. It is alleged that Minister Zameer Ahmed intervened in this case in favour of the fraudsters. An audio recording, allegedly of Minister Zameer Ahmed calling Peresandra PSI Jagadish Reddy of Chikkaballapur, went viral, lending support to these allegations.
