Gaza's Civil Defence Authority announced on Wednesday that at least 30 people were killed and more than 12 were injured in an Israeli military strike in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday. The authority stated that the attack occurred in violation of the ceasefire agreement. US Vice President J.D. Vance, who visited Israel last week, stated that the ceasefire is continuing despite the Tuesday attack by Israel. Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, he said, "A ceasefire doesn't mean there won't be minor clashes. We know that Hamas or someone else inside Gaza has attacked Israeli soldiers.
