The internal squabbles within Bihar's prominent Yadav family have reached a boiling point amid the high-stakes 2025 Assembly elections, threatening to fracture the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD)'s unity.

Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav now president of the breakaway Janshakti Janata Dal unleashed a blistering tirade not just against the RJD but also against his younger brother and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, whom he derisively branded a milk-toothed child.KLOSIA Women Viscose Printed Kurta Pant Dupatta Set

In a pointed interview, Tej Pratap mocked Tejashwi's maturity, quipping, Tejashwi ji's milk teeth haven't even fallen yet. He is a child. All mistakes made by children are forgiven.

He urged restraint, advising, "Don't take a child's words seriously," while lambasting the RJD's election blueprint as opportunistic and disconnected from grassroots realities. Also Read: Telangana Road Tragedy: 24 Ki**lled After RTC Bus Collides with Lorry!

Escalating the rhetoric, he accused the party's leadership of hypocrisy "These people talk about the poor but resort to muscle power against them."

Tej Pratap's ire was particularly fueled by Tejashwi's aggressive campaigning in Mahua constituency Tej Pratap's former stronghold to bolster RJD's official candidate, Mukesh Raushan. Also Read: Renukaswamy Mur**der Case: Court Postpones Hearing for Darshan and 17 Accused! - Report

Contesting independently from Mahua as part of his rebel Janshakti Janata Dal outfit, Tej Pratap condemned this as a betrayal, vowing to upend the status quo. With audacious ambition, he declared, "If the people of Mahua want it, I will become Bihar's Chief Minister this time. The key to power will be with me."

Outlining his vision, he aims to secure 20-30 MLAs for his party, positioning it as a potential kingmaker, and pledged support to any alliance committing to an engineering college in Mahua a long-standing local demand he claims to champion. Also Read: Supreme Court Hearing on BBMP Elections: December 15 Likely for Final Verdict and Poll Date Announcement

This dramatic schism traces back to years of simmering tensions, including Tej Pratap's ouster from RJD in May 2025 over personal controversies and intra-party clashes, compounded by his 2020 seat shift from Mahua to Hasanpur due to flagging popularity.

Personal life scandals, such as Tej Pratap's viral social media confessions, have only deepened the divide. Signaling a clean break, he has unfollowed Tejashwi and sister Misa Bharti on X starkly stating, "I have chosen death over returning to the RJD."Also Read: Yogi Adityanath's Sharp Criticism: Sarcasm Calling Mahagathbandhan Leaders 'Three Monkeys'..!

As Bihar votes in phases starting November 6, this fraternal fallout could reshape alliances and hand rivals like the NDA an edge in the Yadav-dominated vote bank.
