In this case, Pavitra Gowda is accused No. 1, and Darshan is accused No. 2. While standing in a line before the judge, Darshan was standing behind Pavitra Gowda. At this moment, Pavitra Gowda called out to Darshan, saying "Come forward."

Renukaswamy, originally from Chitradurga, was murdered in this case. Following the Supreme Court's cancellation today of the bail order previously granted by the High Court, Bengaluru police arrested Darshan, Pavitra Gowda, and other accused on August 14.
