Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Mahagathbandhan's chief ministerial candidate in Bihar, has made a significant announcement targeting women voters ahead of the state elections.
"If we form the government, starting from Makar Sankranti on January 14, we will deposit a full ₹30,000 annually into the bank accounts of eligible women under the 'Mai Bahin Maan Yojana' (Mother-Sister Respect Scheme)," Yadav declared.ZEBRONICS Bro in Ear Wired Earphones with Mic, 3.5mm Audio Jack, 10mm Drivers, Phone/Tablet Compatible (Green)
This translates to a monthly stipend of ₹2,500 for qualifying women, a bold move by the RJD aimed at alleviating financial pressures amid rising inflation, supporting family sustenance, and fostering greater economic independence.
Positioned as a key electoral promise, the scheme is designed to attract Bihar's vast female electorate by prioritizing women's empowerment and financial security. Also Read: Canadian Government Rejected 75% of Indian Student Visa Applications in August!
