Haryana: Ramkaran, 60, a local cricketer and coach, was assassinated on Monday evening (as per reports dated November 4, 2025) near the Sub-Divisional Hospital (SDH) in Ganaur town. Miscreants arrived in a vehicle and fired at him. He was hit by three bullets. Political Background Motive: Police suspect the murder stems from a long-standing political rivalry linked to local municipal elections.

The deceased’s daughter-in-law is the current councillor of Ward No. 12.

One of the accused, Sunil "Lambu", was a former acting chairman of the Ganaur Municipal Council.

Tensions between the two families have reportedly existed since the previous civic elections. Police are continuing the investigation.
