A shocking incident occurred in Kittaganahalli of Anekal Taluk on the outskirts of Bengaluru, where miscreants broke into a house in broad daylight and slit a man's throat. The attackers brutally murdered him using deadly weapons and an air gun, according to reports.

A shocking incident of brutal murder occurred in broad daylight in Kittaganahalli, Anekal Taluk, on the outskirts of Bengaluru, near the Tamil Nadu border. The victim was viciously attacked and killed by assailants who broke into his home armed with deadly weapons, including an air gun.

Incident Details -

The deceased has been identified as Madesh (40), the owner of a provision store in Kittaganahalli. The assailants used sharp objects to stab Madesh and brutally slit his throat. An air gun was also reportedly used during the gruesome murder. The attackers fled the scene immediately after the murder. Electronic City DCP Narayana visited the spot and informed the media that the police are investigating whether the act was premeditated.

Scene Evidence: Police recovered a bag, a helmet, a gun (likely the air gun), a metal detector, and a torch from the scene. Notably, ₹2 lakh in cash was present in the house but was not stolen, suggesting the motive was not robbery. The Psychology of Money Paperback – 1 September 2020

Attempted Intervention and Victim's Background -

Neighbor's Attempt: A neighbor who witnessed the incident attempted to stop the suspects' bike but was also assaulted by the attackers before they managed to escape.

Madesh, originally from Barandur in Denkanikottai (Tamil Nadu), had been living in Kachanayakanahalli for the last 15 years. He ran a provision store and a cigarette business. He was reportedly in the process of constructing a new house after selling land in his native village.

Police Action -
