Varthur (Bengaluru): Three police personnel have been suspended in connection with the alleged assault on Sundari Bibi, a domestic worker from West Bengal. The suspended officers are Sanjay Rathod, Santosh Kudari, and Archana.Sundari Bibi was working at an apartment where a diamond ring had gone missing. Residents of the apartment had filed a complaint against her. The crime branch staff had brought Sundari Bibi to the station and were conducting an interrogation on the first floor of the police station.At this point, she was allegedly assaulted.

Following a report submitted by Marathahalli ACP, the three crime branch personnel were suspended. Additionally, instructions have been issued to the PSI who did not handle the case properly to provide a detailed explanation. PSI Mounesh Doddamani has been directed to submit a report on the incident.
