Basavanagudi: In Bengaluru, locals apprehended a man who attempted to steal from a bakery while intoxicated and handed him over to the police. The incident occurred at Nandi Ishwara Bakery in the second block of Thyagaraja Nagar. Public passersby noticed the suspicious activity while walking on the road. They caught the thief and immediately called 112 to inform the police. Beat police from the Hoysala patrol arrived at the scene, took the accused into custody, and transported him to the station. During questioning, the accused reportedly confessed to the theft, stating it was due to stomach hunger. Madan Kumar claimed to be a resident of Balegere.
