Jammu and Kashmir Police have reported a significant seizure of explosives and weaponry linked to an arrested Kashmiri doctor, narrowly averting a potential major disaster.
The seizure, carried out based on information provided by the arrested doctor, includes a staggering 300 kilograms of RDX explosive, one AK-47 assault rifle, and a large cache of ammunition. The materials were seized from a location in Faridabad within the National Capital Region (NCR).

The investigation has also revealed the involvement of a second doctor, identified as Dr. Muzamil Shakeel, son of Shakeel Ahmad Ganai, a resident of Koil in Pulwama district. Dr. Muzamil is suspected of having assisted in storing the explosives and weapons recovered in Faridabad.
Dr. Rather was previously charged under the Arms Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
