Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police have achieved a significant counter-terrorism success by busting a major inter-state terror module with links to the Pakistan-based militant groups Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH). Key Target Organizations: The dismantled module was operating in coordination with and on the instructions of proscribed terrorist organizations, specifically JeM and the Al-Qaeda affiliated AGuH.

Inter-State Nexus: The module's operation spanned across state lines, indicating a wider conspiracy to destabilize the region and possibly other parts of India.

Dr. Adeel r/o Wanpora, Kulgam

Major Attack Averted: Authorities confirmed that the busting of this module has foiled a planned large-scale terror attack, the details of which are currently under investigation.

Significant Success: This operation marks a big breakthrough in the ongoing efforts by J&K Police and security agencies to dismantle the support structures, radicalization networks, and operational cells of Pakistan-backed terrorist outfits active in the Union Territory.

Sources indicate that several arrests were made during the operation, and incriminating material, including arms, ammunition, and sophisticated communication devices, are likely to have been recovered. Further investigations are underway to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy and the identities of their handlers across the border.
