Faridabad Case: Rifle Found in Woman Doctor's Car; 12 Suitcases, 20 Timers found

The investigation intensified after the arrest of Dr. Adeel Ahmad Rather, a resident of Pulwama, about 10 days ago. In a new development, an assault rifle was recovered from the Swift Dzire car of a woman doctor associated with Al-Falah University.

Faridabad/Srinagar: In a joint operation by Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir Police, a massive cache of explosives and weapons has been recovered in Faridabad. The haul is reportedly linked to the Pakistan-backed terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and was intended for major attacks in North India.

The recovered materials include 360 kg of ammonium nitrate (a highly combustible chemical) and other large-scale IED-making components. The latest twist: the assault rifle linked to Dr. Muzammil was found in the Swift Dzire car of a woman doctor from Al-Falah University. Details of the Accused

Dr. Muzammil: Assistant Professor at Al-Falah University, Faridabad. Linked to JeM; stored materials in a rented room. Arrested 10 days ago.

Dr. Adeel Ahmad Rather: Resident of Pulwama; worked at a hospital in Saharanpur. His interrogation led to Dr. Muzammil.

Woman Doctor: Employed at Al-Falah University. The rifle was found in her car. “The accused may have used her car without her knowledge. However, her role is under investigation,” sources said.

One assault rifle (with 3 magazines), 83 live cartridges

One pistol (with 8 live rounds), 2 empty cartridges, 2 extra magazines

12 suitcases, one bucket (filled with explosives)

20 timers, 4 batteries, remotes

5 kg heavy metal, walkie-talkie set..

Forensic experts are analyzing the materials. Jammu & Kashmir Police have averted a potential major disaster.
