Polling booth staff travelled to their respective polling stations on Monday concerning the Assembly elections scheduled to be held in the district tomorrow.

In the presence of observers from both areas, detailed instructions were given to the officers and staff engaged in polling duties.

The District Election Officers instructed the staff to perform their election duties with complete sensitivity. Furthermore, a strict instruction was issued that staff or voters should not carry mobile phones inside the polling booths.
