Bengaluru: A case has been registered against a YouTuber running a channel in the Adarsha Nagar area of Konanakunte, Bengaluru, following allegations of assault and harassment made by a young woman who worked for him.
The case was filed at the Konanakunte Police Station against the YouTuber, identified as Muthuraju alias Surya, who operates the YouTube channel named V-2.
Allegations in the Complaint -
The police confirmed that the complaint was filed within the jurisdiction of the Konanakunte police limits. The victim, who was employed by the accused on his YouTube channel, detailed the following accusations in her complaint:

Assault and Molestation: When she confronted him at his house after discovering the theft, the accused allegedly assaulted her, behaved in a manner that caused physical embarrassment and molestation, and damaged her mobile phone and watch.
Threats: The complaint further states that the accused threatened to share her personal photos on social media and also verbally abused her family members over the phone using vulgar language.
Police Action -
Police have registered a case against the accused under sections related to assault, molestation, insulting the modesty of a woman, and criminal intimidation. The police have issued a notice to the accused, instructing him to appear for interrogation within seven days, failing which he will be arrested.
