The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has comfortably crossed the majority mark in the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, securing a clear lead while the opposition INDIA bloc lags far behind.

As of 12:55 PM, trends indicate the NDA ahead in 195 seats and the Mahagathbandhan in 54. Party-wise leads include: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at 85 seats, Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)] at 76, and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) at 34. According to Election Commission of India (ECI) data, BJP is leading in 89, JD(U) in 71, RJD in 43, and Congress in 9 constituencies.

The ruling NDA campaigned for re-election on the back of Nitish Kumar's two decades of state governance and the Modi government's 11 years at the center.
