Under the leadership of Shivamogga City JDS President Deepak Singh, a meeting of key leaders and ward presidents was held at the party office in the city to review the progress of party membership registration and to discuss the appointment of Booth Level Agents (BLAs).

Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Singh informed about the importance of BLAs appointed by the party in preparing new voter lists in all 290 booths in the city as per the Election Commission's directives and the upcoming new SIR rules. Membership registration is progressing but has not reached the expected target. Everyone should pay attention and work towards it, as membership will benefit the party in future elections, he said.

K.B. Prasanna Kumar urged workers and leaders to shed inertia and engage in the membership drive, emphasizing that at least 30,000 members must be registered in the city. District president Kadidal Gopal called on everyone to be proactive in strengthening the party at the booth level.

The meeting was attended by former city MLA and state JDS vice-president K.B. Prasanna Kumar, district JDS president Dr. Kadidal Gopal, prominent leaders Thyagaraj, Ramesh Nayak, Sangayya, Narasimha Gandhadamane, and others.
