Due to the unusual weather conditions developing over the Bay of Bengal, it is said that rain and a drop in temperature are being witnessed in several districts of Karnataka, including Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

An adverse weather system brewing in the Bay of Bengal is set to bring widespread rainfall and a noticeable drop in temperatures across several districts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast indicating the formation of a low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal, which is expected to intensify in the coming days.

Key Forecast Highlights -

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Severe downpour is forecasted for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, the coastal areas of Karnataka, and Lakshadweep.

Special Alert for Karnataka: The IMD has issued a specific weather advisory for several districts in Karnataka, including:

Impact over Next 48 Hours: The weather disturbance is expected to bring strong winds and rain across the state within the next 24 to 48 hours. Adverse weather conditions are anticipated in coastal regions and parts of North Karnataka, with an impact also expected on the weather in Bengaluru.
