Udupi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the revered Udupi Sri Krishna Matha today . After offering prayers and having darshan of Lord Krishna, he will inaugurate the magnificent Suvarna Teertha Mantapa and dedicate the Suvarna Kindi (golden covering for the historic Kanakana Kindi window).
He will then join the grand Laksha Kantha Bhagavad Gita Parayana – a historic recitation of the entire Bhagavad Gita by nearly one lakh participants.

Drinking water will be provided free by the Matha authorities, arrying water bottles, bags, food items, or snacks is strictly prohibited inside the venue. After the programme, annadana will be served to thousands of attendees.
Last-minute update: Due to early departure from Delhi, the Prime Minister is now expected to arrive approximately 40 minutes ahead of schedule. According to Udupi District Police Commissioner Hariram Shankar, the revised itinerary is.
