Today marks a golden chapter in the glorious history of Udupi Sri Krishna Math.Under the divine vision and resolve of the current Paryaya Peethadheeshwar, H.H. Shri Sugunendra Teertha Swamiji, the magnificent Suvarna Teertha Mantapa and the breathtaking Suvarna Kindi (Golden Window) have been created.

These marvels will be inaugurated today by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.The Suvarna Kindi is the sacred nine-apertured window (Navadwara) through which millions of devotees stand and receive the divine darshan of Lord Sri Krishna. This already world-famous window has now been completely transformed into pure gold. Crafted with approximately 80 kilograms of pure gold, the Lord’s divine form will now shine with even greater splendour and radiance, filling every devotee’s heart with eternal bliss.

Golden kalashas, golden walls, and exquisite golden ornaments bathe the entire mantapa in divine brilliance. This is not merely architecture it is a living symbol of faith, devotion, and timeless tradition.
