Leopard sightings have increased in Nanjangud taluk of Mysuru district. Recently, during a night patrol, police officers spotted a leopard.

While traveling on the road from Halepura to Kebbepura village, they noticed a leopard calmly sitting in a deserted area beside the road.

Locals say this is not the first leopard sighting in the area. There are growing fears of attacks on livestock in surrounding villages.
