Interstate Vehicle Thieves Arrested in Ramanagara: Police Seize Over 15 Vehicles

In a special operation conducted by the Ramanagara Rural Police, two notorious interstate vehicle thieves have been arrested. The accused have been identified as Shahid (27) and Afsar (40). Police investigations revealed that the duo had been involved in vehicle thefts across several districts in Karnataka and also in Maharashtra.

During the investigation, it was discovered that the accused had stolen vehicles in Ramanagara, Mandya, Tumakuru, Kolar, Ballari, and Hubballi, among other places. From the accused, police have seized 2 goods vehicles, 3 cars, and 10 motorcycles, along with around ₹4 lakh in cash.

According to the police, the accused were involved in more than 13 cases and had been absconding for some time. Investigation also revealed that more than five vehicles were stolen in Ramanagara district alone.Tragic Fire at Contractor’s House: Woman Burnt Alive, Three Rescued!

Based on collected information and a planned operation, the Ramanagara Rural Police team successfully arrested the two accused. Further investigation into the case is currently underway.
