Mark Carney on Tuesday said, Canada can supply world’s lowest-carbon, and superior quality of Liquefied Natural Gas to India. The gas widely used for heating, power and Industrial use all across Europe and other continents.
Canadian Prime Minister said, Canada is the energy super power and can meet Indian requirements and by 2040, Canada would have doubled the production of LNG in Canada.

He was seen in the video alongside of PM Modi, said, as India intends to increase its renewable capacity of LNG by 500 gigawatts by 2030, Canada can be the right partner.
He also added, as India seeks access to critical minerals for its manufacturing, clean technology and nuclear plans, and mining. Canada has 40 % of the world’s mining companies based at Canada.

The Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr. Hardeep Puri, had commented earlier before the Middle East crisis. India is intending to diversify its sourcing and do not intend to completely depend on Middle East.
Apart from Russia and South America, India can now widen its supply base to Canada. However the response from the Indian Government is yet to come.
