Borne in 1966 in extreme poverty in Michoacán City, in Mexico, South America.
His criminal journey starts from the Avocado-growing region of Mexico, at 14 he started guarding Marijuana plantations. In 1980 he immigrated illegally to California, he was arrested in San Francisco and spent time in federal prison of Texas for heroine distribution and he was deported back to Mexico in mid 90s. Coming back to Jalisco, Mexico, El Mencho ironically worked as a Police officer. This role gave him an immense deep insight on law enforcement tactics, which he later used against the law authorities. He got married to Rosalinda Gonzalez Valencia who was running a drug cartel, could give El Mencho the financial backup and the base in Mexico underworld.
In Later years he formed his own group called CJNG (Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion) after the death of the don Sinaloa Nacho Coronel, El Mencho took over complete drug empire in his control.
Unlike his predecessors El Mencho introduced new level of violence in the cartel.
The operational methods were very violent and he started using Improvised Explosive devices and Rocket-propelled Grenades to shoot down the cops. Violence became very common in Mexico and the law and judiciary system was completely destroyed.

The cartel lord started terrorizing both South and North America now. Over years he lived in shadow made Mexico law-less. When the authorities realized the Mexico police cannot catch him, US intervened.
US started the new joint task force to track him. Finally February 22, 2026 Mexico carried out the surgical strike over him and his gang, they retaliated back with firing at the task force and El Mencho was shot dead in the confrontation. He was captured alive but in critical condition with too many wounds. He died while he was transported for medical assistance, thus making the end of one more notorious don from the Mexico drug cartel.
