The Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abaas Araghchi said Us had initially imposed a ban on Russian oil and persuaded India not to buy oil, now after the Middle East War situation US is ‘begging’ India and other countries to buy Oil from Russia.

In a post on X Araghchi said US bullied India for months not to buy oil from Russia, now within two weeks of war white House wants India to buy oil from Russia in a big way. He also criticized European community for its double standards and for their support to US for waging war with Iran. He ended his post by calling Trump, pathetic.

The comments have come soon after he had a phone call with Minister S.Jayshankar to confirm Iran has allowed two Indian ships loaded with LPG to sail through Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier Iran’s ambassador to India Fathali had confirmed that Tehran will allow Indian vessels and ships pass through the passage in Strait of Hormuz. He also added India is been very friendly country with Iran and Iran would not do anything that’s not in the interest of India.

Meanwhile Reuters has confirmed that the Saudi Arabian shipment to India has passed through the crucial passage without any hurdles and the shipment will reach India on 22nd of March.

US has not reacted to Araghchi’s comments so far.
