Bangalore, 14, March, Munish Moudgi, Special Commissioner, Revenue of Greater Bangalore Authority on Friday said, if the E-Khata application is not processed within five working days, will automatically be approved under a new digital mechanism.
The move comes when the people started complaining the officials are delaying the process without any concrete reason.
Addressing the LPE (Local Private Entrepreneurs), in an orientation program, he said 99% of the application are processed within 4 days. The fully digital processing has introduced and people can do it online, there’s no need to go to corporation offices. He pleaded the LPE and others not to approach officials or entertain any middle-men as everything is online now. He insisted on error-free documents to finish the processing in three working days.
The dedicated grievance is started for the citizens to report issues pertaining to E-Khata process. The Revenue Department officials were guided to review the suggestions and operational concerns brought up during the interaction.
