As per Police registered reports, Afsar Khan (40), and Saima (28) were married for nine years and have two children. Five days ago the women came to her maternal home having family disputes.
To resolve the dispute the panchayat was organized on Monday. While meeting was going on Afsar Khan, a driver by profession stabbed to death his mother in law, Asma and brother in law, Adil (20).
When his wife intervened, he stabbed his wife too, but was immediately admitted to Hospital, where she is still in critical condition. After the crime Afsar fled from the crime spot.
SSP Anurag Arya launched the manhunt for the fugitive. On Tuesday morning Police got the info that Afsar is in Sahara ground in Ahmad nagar, he did possess a illegal weapon and was intending to kill his wife in hospital.

After reaching Afsar, Police pleaded him to surrender, but Afsal started firing at Police and Police had to shoot him down in self-defense. After the severe injuries he was rushed to District hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
Two constables were also injured in the exchange of fire and they are under treatment, the police recovered one pistol, ammunition and a knife from Afsar, UP police reported.
