Jammu university adds Jinnah’s name in modern Indian Politics syllabus

JNU has done it again, This time the inclusion of Mohammad Ali Jinnah in its post-graduation syllabus. The ABVP has protested and has demanded immediate removal of the traitor’s name from the syllabus.

Akhila Bharata Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has protested in Jammu University and has demanded to remove Jinnah’s chapter from Political Science syllabus.

The university however justifies itself by claiming Jinnah’s chapter is mentioned in many educational institutions and it subscribes to University Grant Commission’s guidelines. 

ABVP led by Jammu and Kashmir Secretary Sannak Shrivats and other activists assembled on the university campus and raised slogans against the Jammu University  administration. They demanded immediate removal of the chapter which is added in Modern Indian Political thought under the pretext of “minorities and the nation”.

The protestors tore and burnt Jinnah’s pictures in the campus, threatening the authorities to intensify the protest if they don't remove it immediately.

ABVP secretary Shrivats said, the government should act instantly as Jammu university has intentionally added Jinnah in the syllabus 2026-2028. Jinnah is presented as the mentor of modern politics, but in reality he promoted two nation theory and divided the country.

The University claims along with the other contemporaries like Sardar Patel and Mahatma Gandhi, the university has mentioned Jinnah’s name too.


The ABVP in its official statement said they would call for the nation wide protest if not removed immediately,
