To dwell in to the internal Pakistan policies one should have the basic understanding, Pak never had democracy, though they claim. Their Geo-Political stands are often described as walking a tight rope.
In us-Iran war Pakistan is stuck between the devil and the Deep Blue Sea. It shares 900 kms of border with Iran and from ages it’s been claiming of Universal Muslim Brotherhood. On the other hand, it’s tethered to US financially. It has to balance between Tehran and Washington.
The energy crisis and the sanctions have an impact of existential crisis over Pakistan. The Iran-Pak pipeline which was to be finished sometime back, is still pending from Pak’s side and Iran has completed the construction of their side of pipeline. Now Iran threatens Pak with 18 billion $ of penalty, if it does not fulfil pipeline’s time frame.
US is against the Iranian pipeline citing Iran Freedom and Counter Proliferation Act. Obviously, they are against Iran-Pak pipeline and are threatening Pak with secondary sanctions if Pak does any business with Iran. Pak needs energy to restore their broken economy by completing the pipeline, but if they go ahead with the project, they will lose US aid and they will be removed out of Global Banking System (SWIFT).
NIA raids underway in Kashmir to eradicate the terror groups of Pak in Kashmir
Iran blames Pak for harbouring Pak Sunni Militant groups in Iran, Pak being Pak, denies the truth.
Now the awfully fatal situation has hit the Pakistan hard.
The only element left for Pakis is the phobia of losing their sovereignty, and the nightmare of Armageddon. The day of the end of the world for the sick Pakistan.
Amen.
