The letter themed “you are not our enemy” reached the US public, just before hours of Trump’s prime-time address. Pezeshkian in his letter urged the people of US, that Iran has no enmity with US citizens and conflict is artificially manufactured by the political and economic whims of the powerful.

He said, that the portrayal of Iran as a threat is a fiction created to justify military spending and regional dominance. He famously stated, if a threat does not exist, its created.

US has not responded so far, since the letter came before hours of Trum’s speech, it could have been intentionally ignored, as Trump gave final warning to Iran.
