West Bengal Elections 2026: The phenomenal Cleanup by ECI, TMC on backfoot

ECI Shrinks West Bengal Voter Base by 9.1 Million Ahead of Polls

Kolkata: April, 7th, Election commission of India officially declared the total number of deletions in WB. The significant reductions have come from minority dominated areas. Murshidabad, Malda are the glaring examples of misconducts by TMC. The final data presented by ECI shows 9.1 million voters, which was 7.7 million in October, 2025. Hopefully this election will be held under the constitutional guidelines without any malpractices, which had almost become legitimate in Mamata Banerjee’s regime. For the upcoming election, ECI has cleaned the political stage and electoral process.  Amazon Brand - Myx Women's Schiffli Embroidery Ethnic Dress | Fit and Flare | Knee Length (Available in Plus Sizes)

No matter what Mamata has to yell, for the first time we are witnessing an honest election after several decades. Be it Mamata or Jyoti Basu or even Congress, all have contributed to illegal migration to broaden their vote base in WB. A Historic Reckoning in Madurai. But still there can be hurdles in voting processing, since both local Police and minorities are active and aggressive. A Historic Rejection by the speaker Preserves the Sanctity of India’s Electoral Framework.
