The arrested six men are, Asif Ansari, Shafi Sheikh, Shah Rukh Qureshi, Raza Memon, Tausif Attar, and Danish Sheikh. The woman, an Assistant General Manager (HR), who is accused of supporting the harassment by ignoring the victims' repeated grievances. The woman is accused of supplying Hindu girls to six men and trap them. The six men used to torture Hindu girls, force them to eat beef and to pressurise the girls to offer namaz.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis called the incident "very serious" and "shocking" for a professional corporate environment, vowing that such activities will not be tolerated in the state. BJP leader Nitesh Rane has referred to the case as an instance of "corporate jihad."
