The long-awaited Bengaluru-Mumbai Vande Bharat Sleeper train has officially received the green signal from the Railway Ministry. After speaking to the Ministry over phone Tejaswi Surya has confirmed. The train will run via the Kalaburagi route (1,136 km). This path was chosen over the Hubballi route because it is shorter, fully electrified, and double-tracked in most sections, supporting speeds of up to 130 kmph, infrastructure is readily available.
